• If you need to meet with me, please feel free to contact me to set up a suitable time. The best time to meet with me is from 7.45 AM to 8.30AM and 2.40 PM to 3.20 PM. (or by appointment)
(Students are given time daily to write in their agenda)
Grading Policy:
Grades are based on a total points system. For example, if a student earns 195 points from a possible 220 points, the student earns a percentage of 90% that equals a letter grade of A-.
A 93-100% B-80-82% D+67-69%
A- 90-92% C+ 77-79% D 63-66%
B+ 87-89% C 73-76% D- 60-62%
B 83-86% C- 70-72% F 59 and below
There are plenty of opportunities to succeed in this class, therefore I do not offer nor accept extra credit work.
Supplies
These will be required of students:
1. Notebook spiral or 3-ring binder (1 1/2 inch) with paper.
2. Pens (blue or black ink) & 6 pencils (Pens are to be used most days)
3. Colored pencils
4. Pencil sharpener
5. Ruler
6. Eraser

1. Be on time and be prepared
2. Talk and move when allowed
3. Listen to and follow directions
4. Practice R-E-S-P-E-C-T
5. Food, drinks, and grooming are not permitted

and a great citizenship grade!

• Verbal warning / exclusion from activity or treat / seat change
• Sign behavior/tardy log
• Parent contact
• Detention / 250-500 word essay

and a decreased citizenship grade!
Make up Work
1. Check the agenda in the back of the room for assignments given on the day you were absent.
2. Pick up your work on the day you return.
3. You have one day for every day you were absent to complete your make-up work.
4. If you missed a quiz, test, see me about making it up.
5. If you were absent and were aware of an upcoming assignment before the absence, you will be responsible for that assignment on the day it is due.
Late Assignments
1. Unexcused late assignments will be given half-credit.
2. Unexcused late projects will have one letter grade deducted for each school day late.
3. No name work will receive a letter grade reduction or if not claimed, possibly an F grade.
