7th Grade Coursework Periods 1,2,3, 4 and 5
(Please keep all course work (graded or ungraded) for Unit Project Packs due at the end of each Unit.)
Homework is generally classwork that is not finished in class. From time to time there will be class projects. Please refer to your child's agenda for more information. It is your child's responsibility to write in his/her agenda daily. Time is given at the start of each class to achieve this. I will give student several minutes daily to complete their agenda requirements. The next 3 class units of study are listed below.
1. Middle Ages -Europe
2. Renaissance
3. Reformation
Medieval Europe – All students will score 75% or better on chapter 6 on the Medieval Europe Unit Test. All students will complete the Middle Ages choice project.
Learning Targets:
1. I can explain how feudalism developed in Medieval Europe and its social implications.
2. I can explain the relationships between popes and kings in Medieval Europe.
3. I can explain the importance of the Magna Carta and its influence on the world.
4. I can explain the causes of the Crusades, and explain how the Crusades affected Christians, Jews, and Muslims in Europe.
5. I can explain how the Bubonic plague spread and how it affected the world population.
